How notes are handled
No person reads your notes as a matter of course. Each note passes an automated check before it can be sent: a word list, and an AI model reached through OpenRouter, which reads the sender's name and the note's words. Only AI hosts that keep nothing are used. OpenRouter screens requests for child sexual abuse material and may keep anything that screening flags. Notes are not end-to-end encrypted. A note's words stay on our server only until your phone has them, and then they're deleted there.
If you report a note, your phone sends its words to us, and a person reads them.
What we keep
People using the app: a random ID made on your phone, the first name you give us, your time zone, a push token, and a record of what you do in the app, such as when you asked someone for a note, and content you liked, disliked or saved. There is no account and no email address.
People writing notes: the name you type, and when you wrote. A scrambled form of your IP address is used for a short time to limit abuse. We don't ask for an email address.
Your own subjects: lists you add stay on your phone. If you add a feed, your phone reads it directly from the site you chose, so that site sees your connection the way any website would. We never see your lists, your feeds or their addresses.
Your contacts: the app never reads your contacts. You pick one person using Apple's picker, and you send the message yourself. That person's details stay on your phone.
Emails to support: when you email us from the app, a log is added to help us look into the problem. It holds technical details such as the app and iOS version, your phone model and settings, counts of things in the app, and recent connection results. It has no notes, names, widget content or feed addresses, and you can remove it before sending. We keep it with your email.
Who sees it
Vercel runs the site, Supabase stores the data, and OpenRouter connects to the AI model. Apple delivers a signal that something changed, and that signal never includes the words of a note. Reports are read by a person at I Totally Need That LLC. We use no third-party analytics and no advertising.
Daily Widget Plus: you buy it through Apple, and we never see your payment details. The app asks Apple only whether this Apple Account has Plus. On the free plan, notes past the monthly limit wait on your phone, not on our server.
How long
Notes stay in the app on your phone until you delete the app. Everything else stays on our server until you choose Delete my data in Settings, which deletes everything your phone put on our server. Deleting the app alone doesn't do this.
